About Us..... Centre
for Intervention is a Non-Governmental Organisation that was duly registered
in 2008, by the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria with Registration
No. CAC/IT/NO. 30397.
Our activities include:
+ Promoting democracy,
good
governance and electoral best practices.
+ Advocacy against all forms of violence on Women and Girls ( VAWG) and
other gender related discriminatory societal
activities/treatments in Nigeria and the ECOWAS sub-region.
+ Advocacy against Drug abuse and illicit Drug trafficking, Human
trafficking and other trans-border crimes, including crude oil theft and
pipeline vandalism.
+ Promoting/Providing poverty alleviation and entrepreneurial initiatives
and empowerments for the youths and women, especially in the rural areas.
+ Promoting integrity, transparency and accountability as a culture in
Nigeria.
+ Promoting the provision of conducive environment for national and
sub-regional trades, business and direct foreign investment.
+ Advocacy for peace and peace-building as well as conflict resolution at
the rural, national and sub-regional levels using the Alternative Dispute
Resolution (ADR) Mechanisms.
+ Advocacy for the protection of the rights of children and the
vulnerable groups including widows, orphans, the girl child and people with
disability.
+ Promoting qualitative basic
education, adult and non-formal education, as well as technical and
vocational training.
+ Promoting basic and primary
healthcare in Nigeria |
